Alireza Esmaeilzadeh

Alireza (Ali) Esmaeilzadeh is President of the U.S. Office Business at BGRE, where he oversees Asset Management and provides strategic leadership for the Property Management and Development businesses.

Ali joined BGRE in 2018 through the Forest City acquisition. He has held leasing and asset management roles across the office and retail sectors, as well as executive development positions within the multifamily and office asset classes. Prior to BGRE, he led Forest City Enterprises’ New York City office business. Earlier in his career, he worked in the investment banking division of Scotiabank in Toronto, Ontario.

Ali earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with honours from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada.

He serves on the Board of Trustees of The Brooklyn Hospital and on the boards of the Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center and The Acting Company. He is Chairman of the MetroTech Business Improvement District, Secretary and Board Member of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, and a Board Member of both the Times Square Alliance and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
